Buoyant Works are pleased to announce their participation as exhibitor at the forthcoming Tug Technology Conference in London from October 25th-26th 2021.
Drawing on 30 years of fender design experience, Buoyant Works has developed the next generation of Tug Fendering. Utilising progressive compression technology and modular construction, significant performance and environmental benefits have been achieved. The traditional cylindrical fender has been replaced with a modular layout which in conjunction with its alternative W-Fender and D-Fender designs, delivers an overall weight saving of up to several tonnes compared with traditional rubber alternatives.
Within the FenderIT range, exceptionally robust and resilient fenders have been designed with outstanding grip and abrasion resistance, to enable Tug Boats to operate safely and with precision.
Further key features of Buoyant Works Tug Fenders include:
- Minimum 30% lighter than rubber tug fenders of equivalent size
- Modular innovatively engineered designs
- Extreme durability and wear resistance
- Progressive compression through multiple cavities
- Variable hardness range for tailored performance
- Easy, quick installation and reduced maintenance costs.
Buoyant Works will be on Stand 14 where conference delegates can come and visit to see product samples and receive full tug fender technical information tailored to their vessel requirements.
